Chilean stocks closed slightly lower dragged down by the decline in banking stocks and commodities. The local market saw the evolution of Wall Street, which resulted in gains in corporate earnings supported.
The Ipsa concerning the 40 most traded shares on the local market fell 0.3% to settle at 4.209.14 points, while the general indicator, IGPA, fell 0.16%.
Shares of banks led and raw materials with low losses of 1.52 and 0.69% respectively. Offset only by gains in the industrial sector (0.67%)
According to available information, the actions of top gainers were led by BBVA (28.21%), Santangroup (7.69%) and SM Chile E (6.67%).
While the main casualties were found in the titles of Chilectra (7.69%), CTC A (7.69%) and CTC (5.83%)
Santander fell 3.3% and was the fourth most traded share with about $ 4,000 million in stock.
