Youtube and social networking are some of the tools that small business has at its disposal to deal with its competitors.

SMEs not only have to compete against big companies, but against the advertising giant. Their presence in the media is quite limited because they can not afford such glitzy media campaigns.

It is increasingly common to find small banners on websites that have nothing to do with them, is this profitable? Given this disadvantage, it also is tempered by the crisis, small webs in online advertising are a quick exit and a source of profit, not realizing how much they are compensated tarnishing its image. Complete websites with banners and pop ups are not very profitable because if we do not have frequent visits, all you get is “scare” a few loyal customers who continue to turn to the web.

Transport companies know the benefits of using intelligent systems

The Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, through the public company’s Network and the Ministry of Development held in Leon on Tuesday Days ‘Business Network’, a meeting which showed the commitment to use intelligent transportation systems that minimize “negative externalities” of the sector, in order to increase the profitability of various businesses.

At the ceremony attended by the mayor of Leon, Francisco Fernandes, the director general of the National Institute of Communication Technologies (INTECO), Victor Izquierdo, and Red.es spokesman, Rafael Chavez. This program aims to promote the implementation of a ‘software’ fleet management business in the land transport sector or in companies with fleets of Castilla and Leon.

The project is part of ‘Business Network’ and is part of the Plan Avanza2. It has a budget of 178 million euros until 2013 funded by the Ministry of Industry, the State government and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In the case of Castilla and Leon, the budget allocation in excess of four million euros.
